Neighbourhood Support is a free service that works to form neighbours into small groups, who commit to look out for each other and prepare for any emergencies. These groups become more aware of being resilient from impacts of crime and disasters, and are upskilled with information and practical events through their membership with Neighbourhood Support.

Neighbours share information about their skills and resources so that they are more resilient as a group if any need arises. Plans are made for the vulnerable people in the group and social events are encouraged.

Being a member means neighbours receive newsletters with messages from the emergency services and other agency to reduce the impact of crime, be prepared and connected. Members are invited to related talks and workshops and have Neighbourhood Support staff available to discuss community concerns.
